Are You In a Dip With Your Blog, Your Job, You Life? This Will Help But First You Have To Quit!

I’ve just finished reading a book that has already helped me improve my prospects in everything that I decide to do. It’s called The Dip by Seth Godin and you should read it. Here’s why…

I’m a closet fan of Seth Godin’s work.

Well I was till I made that public statement and by so doing I’m now free to be openly enthusiastic about his work. Free at last (it’s not a life style choice Mom, it’s how I was born!)

This guy drives me crazy because he’s so damn good at what he does! “Which Is?”… Marketing and sales as well as setting up on of the most powerful web social platforms (Check out www.Squidoo.com).

Anyway, in essence he sells books (not ebooks, real books, you know the kind, made with paper pulp?) but promotes them online. He’s been around since year dot when the internet was young and he could teach Google a thing or two. Not only that, he knows your stuff, which makes his marketing so effective I guess.

I’ve read and enjoyed many of Seth’s books, Purple Cow, Free Prize Inside, Permission Marketing, Ideavirus (well not all, got a bit tedious) and most recently The Dip. The Dip is a book dedicated to a very simple topic; knowing when to quit something and when to stick. I read it in a day and it’s made me realize a lot of things about where I’m wasting my energy and where I should focus.

The Dip is extremelly well written, cutting to the important information. It stays focused and the information is valuable – for everyone! I’ll say that again, the information in The Dip is valuable and it’s for everyone.

Enough, go get it.

Remember, just keep blogging!
